SolidBuilt Demo, a division of SolidBuilt Construction, was created to solve a problem every General Contractor and Property Owner has faced: finding a demo contractor who can be trusted to do it right.
 

Our founder, Wren Martin, grew up in construction working for his father, a commercial general contractor and custom home builder. Wren and his brothers learned the trades early — doing everything from concrete, framing, drywall, roofing and even asbestos abatement. 

Wren rose from laborer to VP of the family company before moving into commercial development, where he served as Owner’s Representative on over $380 million in commercial construction projects across the Southwest.
 

In that role, he hired and managed dozens of general contractors — and saw the same problem on nearly every job: demo contractors who cut corners, caused unnecesary damage, and cost the GC or Owner time and money.

- Demo crews tearing out the wrong finishes overnight.

- Workers who couldn’t clear security for sensitive projects. (including FBI & DEA facilities)

The last straw for Wren was when a demo contractor ripped up over 4,000 SF of carpet tile that should have stayed, and stuck the Owner with the bill to replace it.
 

In frustration he said "Anyone can knock down a wall — but strategic demolition requires experience and precision. A company that can un-build a wall is what contractors need."
 

That’s when the idea for SolidBuilt Demo was born. 

We combine deep construction knowledge with a GC’s perspective to deliver demolition that protects the schedule, the budget, and the integrity of what stays in place.
